MARUTI SUZUKI INVICTO

After the JV between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota both of the brands are extensively white labelling their products. Initially we had witnessed cars going from Maruti Suzuki to Toyota for re-badging but now as the terms of the JV, Toyota has provided Maruti one of its promising products in India ever produced, the Innova hycross, rebadged as, the INVICTO. Maruti rolls out it's second completely hybrid car. The Most interesting fact is that it's the costliest Maruti ever produced. It's offered at zeta+ and alpha+ variants.

Design and styling


As the car has been revised by the Innova high cross it looks exactly the same except some subtle changes in the front bumpers. Comes with a giant grill at the front with sharp looking HIDs. Bodylines are very nicely carved, satisfying the aerodynamicity and curtailing the boring design of a contemporary MUV. Comes with an all LED setup. 


WHAT'S THE HORSE's?

The 2300 kilogram INVICTO gets powered by a 1987 cc petrol hybrid engine which churns out power of 112 kW @6000 rpm and 188 Nm torque @ 4400-5200 rpm. It also comes with three driving modes viz. ECO+Normal+Power. Offers E cvt transmission, dual disc brakes,McPherson strut with torsion beam suspension running on 17 inchers. 4X4 is not available.


Features and tech

Provides Leatherette seats, with soft touches all around the interior, with bronze accents. And leather all around. There is ample amount of comfort in the 2nd row and 3rd row seats with captain seats in the 2nd row, rear AC vents, rear table and blue illumination.

It also comes with some querky features on offer like power tailgate, electronically adjustable steering and seats, ventilated seats,  air filter, switchable EV mode, paddle shifters, cruise control, smartwatch connectivity etc. It's currently offered in 4 colours, NEXA BLUE (CELESTIAL),STELLAR BRONZE,MAJESTIC SILVER,MYSTIC WHITE.


JOURNEY AHEAD....

This is a maiden try of Maruti to enter in the luxury mpv segment. It will be having cut throat competition on the basis of features and a competitive price range, with the Innova hycross, jeep meridian, XUV 700, safari, and MG hector.
