TAARZAN: when purple was a Panic

Image
Taarzan...... the heartbeat of the 00s. And the title track, ohh .... it's still murmuring in my mind after 21 years.  We have all seen the film Tarzan the wonder car anytime in our lifetime. The Manorama of the film was the purple breathtaking car powered by a spirit of a betrayed victim. I saw the car first time when I was in LKG. It was a jaw-dropping experience, literally it was awesome. Literally I've seen the film more than 10 times and not a single time I have become bored rather every glance of the car was mysterious. Let's dive deep into the mysterious history of the Epic creation beyond the film screen. How it started The car was designed by Indian car designer Dilip Chabbria as a part of the sportscar fleet of DC designs. In the film, to replicate the real conditions, the designer (Ajay Devgan in the reel) was named as Deven Chaudhary. It was derived from a Toyota mr2 of 90s which churned out 300hp and received heavy physical and mechanical mods inspired by ano...

When my Wrist gave a Twist!

Image
When my wrist gave a twist !! - by Hridanshu Chatterjee My undying passion for cars and bikes got more tangability, as soon as I started riding bikes on my own. Before that, I dreamt of that how charismatic is it to drive high performance cars and sports bikes on the road; feeling the vibrations of the oscillation of the pistons of the high volume engines, the entire landscape rushing behind your peripheral vision, you are just blazing down the street tearing the wind. All of this tempted me as I saw them in some car magazines, or shows on the television like fifth gear, counting cars; but I got a different feeling when the handle bars came under my fist and I gave it a twist ! When I got that first feeling when my soul got entangled with the ignited  Spirit of the machine, and both of us united towards the sole aim of speed and thrill, The feeling of satisfaction was at a next level and motoring now felt very real for me.  As we all know, honing skill in riding cycles, is the...

It's basically proposed to be the modern version of the previous Honda Hornet and at the same time the upgraded version of the innocent shine 125. In the suburban and urban areas this bike nowadays can be frequently spotted. People are willingly buying it. It radiates a smart, modern and fanatic persona, impressive power and showcased by Honda at a very competitive segment. It's progressing towards new endeavours of leading the city skimmer segment. DESIGN AND STYLING Based on the Previous SP 125, it is derived as the more wilder version of it which showcases sharper haunches , a fierce petrol tank with carbon fibre treatment and more bloated body panels. It gets wider rear tyre to accompany with the more powerful engi...

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

Image
MARUTI SUZUKI INVICTO After the JV between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota both of the brands are extensively white labelling their products. Initially we had witnessed cars going from Maruti Suzuki to Toyota for re-badging but now as the terms of the JV, Toyota has provided Maruti one of its promising products in India ever produced, the Innova hycross, rebadged as, the INVICTO. Maruti rolls out it's second completely hybrid car. The Most interesting fact is that it's the costliest Maruti ever produced. It's offered at zeta+ and alpha+ variants. Design and styling As the car has been revised by the Innova high cross it looks exactly the same except some subtle changes in the front bumpers. Comes with a giant grill at the front with sharp looking HIDs. Bodylines are very nicely carved, satisfying the aerodynamicity and curtailing the boring design of a contemporary MUV. Comes with an all LED setup.  WHAT'S THE HORSE's? The 2300 kilogram INVICTO gets powered by a 1987 cc pe...

INDIAN TRANSPORT: A glimpse of the past….. If we look back into the history of the Indian transport and especially roadways, our means of transport have transformed at a great rate. Our great grandparents have moved by foot, on horses, our grandparents travelled by bullock carts, rickshaws, or maybe by cars and buses, our parents have travelled by buses, cars, motorbikes etc. We have ridden on cars, motorbikes, buses, vans etc. in this section of the article we will first talk about the early history of the Indian roadways (especially cars). Before the British invasion in India, our roadways were limited upto just our foots, horses, and bullock carts. Due to the British invasion in India, our development in the field of roadways were just nothing. During the time period of 1944-1945, we established our first ever indegenious car manufacturing company, i.e. Hindustan motors, although, it was quite helped by many other overseas companies like Morris Garages and Isuzu to establish the...
