INDIAN TRANSPORT: A glimpse of the past….. If we look back into the history of the Indian transport and especially roadways, our means of transport have transformed at a great rate. Our great grandparents have moved by foot, on horses, our grandparents travelled by bullock carts, rickshaws, or maybe by cars and buses, our parents have travelled by buses, cars, motorbikes etc. We have ridden on cars, motorbikes, buses, vans etc. in this section of the article we will first talk about the early history of the Indian roadways (especially cars). Before the British invasion in India, our roadways were limited upto just our foots, horses, and bullock carts. Due to the British invasion in India, our development in the field of roadways were just nothing.
